Rooted In Purpose. Bound by Strength.
At Roots & Ropes, we walk beside mothers and boys, offering guidance, strength, and hope. We believe resilience is built together — through character, support, and community. Every step forward is a step toward restored families and brighter futures.
Our history
Roots&Ropes began as a vision to give voice to mothers and children whose stories are often overlooked. Each milestone has been a step toward resilience, love, and community.
- Roots & Ropes was founded by Checeré Pieters to create a lifeline for boys — a movement that nurtures, guides, and empowers them to grow into resilient men. At its core, Roots & Ropes is about building strength through community, weaving together love, discipline, and hope. We recognize the unique challenges faced by single‑mother households. Roots & Ropes stands alongside these families, offering support, mentorship, and spaces where boys can be grounded, encouraged, and prepared for leadership. Every initiative is designed to give boys the tools to rise above obstacles, discover their identity, and carry compassion and courage into the future.
